Why should I preregister for LifeMission Kids ?

Preregistration assist LifeMission Kids to provide the proper amount of clossrooms and team members. During this time of reentry from Covid 19 team members are limited and having a few weeks of pre registration allows LMK to get a proper estimate of what age groups will be returning to LMK at this time as well as ensure that all supplies and classrooms are thoroughly sanitized.

How will check in be different ?

Check in for the most part will be the same. Kiosks will be disinfected regullary and if you choose not to use the kiosk you can check in at our attended check in area.

How many adults can drop off/pick up our children?

To assist with social distancing safeguards, we’re asking that only one adult per family drops off/picks up children.

Will LMK be serving snacks or food ?

No snacks will be served at this time. No children will be allowed to bring in food to their classrooms. Bottles for infants are acceptable.

What measures are you taking to provide a sanitary environment in LifeMission Kids?

All classrooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Certain classrooms will have a limited number of items to play with along with the disinfecting of items and areas during each service.

My child just completed their school year so what class do they go to now?

All classes will move up to their respected classroom the weekend of August 8th & 9th. This includes our student ministry as well. For more information please click here

Should we attend LifeMission Kids in-person?

Have you had a cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, and/or fever above 100.4 F in the last 72 hours (3 days)? Have you been around anyone with these symptoms in the past 14 days? (cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, and/or fever above 100.4 F) Are you living with anyone who is sick or quarantined? Have you traveled anywhere that has a significant number of new COVID-19 cases, or is considered a COVID-19 “hot spot,” in the last 14 days? Do you live with, or have frequent contact with, someone over 65 or has a serious underlying health condition? If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, we ask that you participate virtually for the following two weeks.

How will you enforce social distancing in LifeMission Kids ?

Social distancing for children will not be enforced as they are children. We are taking intentional steps to provide a fun, safe, clean environemnt for your children. LifeMission Kids will be limiting the number of adults to pick up & drop off children, one way in and one way out of all LMK areas. Please see wellness policy prior to entrance of LifeMission Kids. Children will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer prior to entrance of LifeMission Kids. If hand sanitizer is not preferred by parents we ask that you wash your child's hands in the restroom prior to entrance.

What changes have been made to help improve safety & security

Safety and security are something that we always want to be improving in LifeMission Kids We always want to looking with foresight to prevent anything from happening and provide a safe and secure enviroment. One way in and one way out for all LMK areas. Eastside entrance of Olathe campus will now be emergency exit only and not an entrance. Eastside entrance/exit of Olathe campus sanctuary will now be emergency exit only. Interior stairs outside of eastside entrance of Olathe campus sanctuary will be emergency exit only. No entry to the 2nd floor from the stairs. Olathe campus 2nd floor back doors are now emergency exit only. No entry allowed to LMK areas or classrooms without a claim tag to pick up your child. If needing your child during service no entry will be allowed without being escorted by LMK or security team member. Limited numbers of individuals are requested to pick up / drop off your child. Adults without a claim ticket to pick up or without a child to drop off will be asked to show claim ticket prior to entrance of LMK areas at all campuses.

I'm interested in being apart of the LifeMission Kids team how can I be apart?

The first thing you need to do is fill out this form to get started. Once completed we'll connect with you. All LifeMission Kids team members undergo a background check along with an interivew and process to serve.

What about Squad 45, when does it start back up?

Squad 45 will start back up in July. This will be the last Squad 45 for our graduating 5th graders. See Squad 45 page for more details for schedule and details.
